We helped make Rosie’s life better.

Rosie Phillips helped people with spinal injuries through her work in robotic assistive technologies.

A painful and degenerative spinal condition had severely limited Rosie's ability to get around.  Unable to work, she was feeling isolated and struggling financially.  When she contacted the IET Connect helpline we were able to offer the financial and emotional support that she needed as well as advice on the State benefits to which she was entitled and funding for home adapations and mobility equipment.  Rosie is over the moon because she’s been able to maintain the day to day independence that is so important to her. IET Connect is the Benevolent Fund providing lifelong help and support for past and present members of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and their families.
